Mahalle Kıraathanesi brings the warmth of the corner coffeehouse to your screen. The tables are set, the tea is brewing and the regulars are in their seats. Pull up a chair.

Six games on the table

• Okey: the rack, the indicator, finishing with pairs; in teams or solo.

• 101 Okey: open with 101 or five pairs, lay tiles on the sets, dodge the penalty.

• Backgammon (Tavla) and Kız Tavlası: a walnut board, rolling dice, gammons.

• Pişti: grab the pile, score a pişti, sweep it with a Jack for 20 points.

• Yekta: match colors and numbers, dodge the penalties; the coffeehouse's very own card game.

There are 36 bots at the tables and no two are alike. Grudging Kemal never forgets a pişti, Calculating Hakan counts every card, Rookie Cem gets all excited.
