Technology and creativity come alive in PatchWorld, an immersive sandbox where you can build a simple toy or a fully interactive virtual world filled with music, art and live performances. 

Supporting both VR and desktop, PatchWorld was originally built around musical expression, allowing you to not only create beats but also the musical instruments to make them. Taking inspiration from modular synthesisers, ‘Patching’ is the art of connecting modular blocks to make new machines, new sounds and new ideas. Jam with the pre-built synths, drum machines, samplers and sequencers or make your own. Your imagination is limitless and so is PatchWorld’s connectivity.

Beyond Music

For true artistic freedom, you can build almost anything you want. From remote-controlled toys and interactive art pieces to live performances with dedicated light shows and live performers, PatchWorld is a living, breathing spatial environment designed to be as simple or as complex as creators need it to be. 

Import your own assets to use in your world, or utilise PatchWorld’s in-built generative AI tools to create your own content.   

Community

Music and art are nothing without people to share it with, and PatchWorld thrives on community. Create worlds solo or with friends, host events and stream them live online, there’s nothing quite like building and remixing with like-minded creators. You never know what each new experiment will evolve into.
