About the game

Connect the stars to reveal each constellation in a minimalist puzzle game inspired by all 88 real-world constellations. Revisit your discoveries in the Catalogue, play at your own pace and enjoy the journey through an imagined sky.

Original Steam description

Constellations is a relaxing puzzle game about connecting stars, completing constellations, and watching their shapes emerge from the starry sky. Complete all 88 constellations recognized by the International Astronomical Union (IAU) and discover who catalogued each one and when.

Each connection between stars plays a random note from the same musical scale, allowing a unique melody to unfold as you play. Each constellation has its own distinctive sound. With no time limit, you can slow down and enjoy every moment at your own pace. The ambient soundtrack, with its space-inspired atmosphere, adds depth and intensity to the journey. It can be adjusted or muted separately, while keeping the sounds of the star connections and constellations.

As you complete constellations, new cosmic events are unlocked through the Orbit. Stardust, shooting stars, moons, auroras, nebulae, planets, and other phenomena become part of the sky. Once unlocked, these events can appear randomly while you play, sometimes even happening at the same time and creating unexpected combinations. The further you progress, the more alive and unpredictable the sky becomes.

Revisit completed constellations in the Catalogue and work your way toward the full collection. Discover familiar names and lesser-known figures as your journey unfolds.
