Every Reality Changes the Ship
The Theseus is stranded in deep space with your crew aboard. Its reactor is gone and its power is failing.
Its prototype drive can reach alternate realities, and each one holds a version of a part your ship is missing.
In every reality, your own crew, a version of you, holds that part and needs it in their timeline. You will often steal from yourself.
Jump in, take the part, and bring it home.
The question isn't whether you'll find what you need. It's what you'll leave behind.
Every Jump Is a New Universe
Every jump lands you in another universe under another sky: a research facility, space stations, a colony, a forest, a steampunk city, a Japanese alley, ancient ruins, a frozen winter world.
No universe is ever quite the same twice. Doors open onto new places, and what hunts you there was not waiting for you last time.
Take It Gently, or Tear It Out
The part you need is always held by someone who needs it too, and often that someone is you.
Take it gently and the universe lets you leave. Tear it out, and the universe remembers.
Either way, your ship's AI has an opinion. It is dry, it keeps score, and it never forgets.
The Ship Learns From Every Reality
The ship learns from every reality it robs, and what you carry home becomes who you are.
Not every version of you fights the same way. One slips through the seams between realities; another marks a target and lets the universe finish it. Choose who you are when the jump begins.
Every reality has something to trade, if you know what to ask for.
And every time you fall, you come back changed, as if you had left something important behind.
Every Captain, a Different Timeline
You are not the only crew the multiverse has lost.
Go alone, or bring friends online: each of you a captain from a different timeline, each with a ship that needs saving.
Every Choice Has Consequences
Each stolen part you install brings the Theseus back together, and wings of the ship that have been dark for a long time begin to wake.
The voiced ship AI remembers what you brought home and how you got it. It judges everything, down to the smallest choice, and it is rarely impressed.
Replace every part and ask: is it still the same ship?
